Why Typino is different.

Most typing sites for kids are loud, gamified, and full of distractions. Typino is built on the opposite belief: real skills are learned in calm, focused minutes.

  • No noisy games

No racing, shooting, zombies, or addictive reward loops. Just calm, clear practice that helps the typing actually stick.

  • Accuracy first

Typino is built around getting the keys right, gently. Speed is a side effect of accuracy — and it comes on its own when children are ready.

  • Private by default

No account. No name or email needed. No third-party trackers. Future progress will be saved privately on the device.

How Typino will work.

Three calm steps. The same shape every time, so children always know what to expect.

  1. Choose a short lesson

Lessons are short — two to five minutes — so children can finish without getting tired or losing focus.

  2. Type carefully

Typino shows the next key clearly and waits patiently. Mistakes are gentle, not scary, so children stay calm and try again.

  3. See gentle progress

Accuracy and speed grow over time. Typino celebrates real improvements without flashy effects, points, or pressure.

Built for parents.

Typino is screen time you can feel okay about. Useful, calm, and free of the things parents quietly worry about.

  • No account required

Typino works straight from the browser. There is nothing to sign up for and no inbox to manage.

  • No ads or trackers

Typino does not run ads, analytics, or third-party scripts. The page your child sees is just typing practice.

  • Progress stays private

When progress tracking arrives, it will be saved locally on your child’s device. Clearing the browser clears the progress.

Made with Levinja

A small project, built by a family.

Typino is built by a father and his nine-year-old daughter, Levinja. We wanted a calm place for her to learn touch typing — without the games, ads, and noise that fill most children’s websites. We are sharing it for free with families who want the same.
